Welcome to the Westborough Public Schools

Dear Westborough Families,

It has been the beautiful summer we all needed.  I hope that your family has fully enjoyed time to rest and have some fun.  In less than two weeks we will welcome students back for the start of school.

The faculty and I are excited for the year ahead.  It has been wonderful to have a whole summer focused on curriculum planning, hiring, and organizing for a productive year.  In looking to the work ahead, we will focus on providing students in our classrooms with warmth, structure and expectations: the warmth of caring relationships, the clarity of routines and structure to their days, and high expectations for learning. In partnership with the schools, you can best help assure your child’s success by preparing thoughtfully with them for the start of school. Setting routines, preparing materials, and talking about your expectations for the upcoming year are all part of developing a good mindset for getting learning off to a positive start.
