As part of the district’s plan of action to assure the town of having current, appropriate buildings for Westborough students, we recently undertook the process for the construction of a Preschool wing at the Hastings School. This project has now been completed, and staff and students are enjoying a beautiful space consisting of eight rooms, including a multi-purpose meeting room, offices, and a play space.
In addition, we are in the preliminary stages of working with the Massachusetts School Building Authority (MSBA) on a potential partnership for the repair of portions of the roof, windows, doors, and boiler in the main Hastings School building.
