About

Welcome to the Westborough Public Schools, where our work is grounded in the mission of helping all our students–from our youngest learners in Pre-K to those in our 18-22 BORO/Sugar Shack program–in reaching their potential as creative thinkers, collaborative problem solvers, and compassionate, engaged citizens.

With a dedicated faculty of over 720 employees spanning seven schools, we are exceptionally proud to serve the Westborough community. Our approach is guided by our core values: Academic Excellence and Continuous Improvement, Wellness and Balance, and Belonging for All.

Westborough is a wonderfully diverse community, with over 34 languages spoken in our schools, and we draw great strength from this vibrant cultural expanse. Our commitment to belonging means we are constantly working to remove barriers to learning through universal design and culturally responsive practices, ensuring every student and family feels a true sense of welcome.

While we are consistently ranked among the top districts in the state for academic achievement, we believe true excellence is measured by the "whole child" experience. It is a hallmark of Westborough that our students embrace a balance of challenging coursework alongside participation in our robust Fine Arts programs, competitive athletics, and nationally recognized clubs. We are also focused on digital wellness, helping our students navigate a rapidly changing world thoughtfully and ethically.

Our schools are deeply integrated into the fabric of this town of 22,000 residents. Through our Connected Community initiatives, we forge authentic partnerships with local organizations, veterans, and businesses to provide meaningful service-learning, internships, and civic engagement opportunities. We believe that by working together, we can empower our students to make positive changes for themselves, their community, and the world.

We are honored by the trust you place in us and remain committed to planning proactively and communicating transparently to honor this community’s investment.
