Choices for Schooling During the 2020-2021 School Year
Choice 1: The Hybrid Model
The hybrid model divides our students into two cohorts, Navy and Cardinal. On the days Navy goes to school, Cardinal stays home. On the days Cardinal goes to school, Navy stays home. Cardinal will go to school on Mondays and Wednesdays, Navy goes to school on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and Navy/Cardinal cohorts will be together for ½ day morning REMOTE instruction on Fridays.
The school district determines which cohort a family will be put into. We will make sure that siblings will be in the same cohort.
Choice 2: The Westborough Stand-Alone Remote Learning Program
The stand-alone remote programs for families to support children who can not come into school and attend our hybrid in-person model. The RLP will be taught by our faculty, however, at the high school, courses will be taught by either a WPS faculty or VHS Learning faculty.
All students participating in the Stand-Alone Remote will have a full school day that starts and ends following the bell schedule of their grade level.
